Falconry & Hawking
Third Edition

by Phillip Glasier

You will hear the words "classic text" used about many things, but in this case it actually applies. There are very few other books that you can compare to this one with regards to actual useable information. Falconry & Hawking is one of the few books that should be required reading for all practicing or would be falconers.  This reprinting of the 3rd edition is faithful down to the last detail. The straight forward, plain language writing makes Falconry & Hawking a very quick and easy read. The topics covered in the chapters range from history and the birds used in falconry through every aspect of training and hunting.

Chapters on furniture and equipment used in falconry include designs and patterns to help anyone aspiring to try their hand at making these. Those who have read one of the original know how valuable the information in this volume is.  For those of you who haven't had the chance to get a copy, now is the time. Falconry & Hawking has been made readily available again with this reprinting.
